3 Things You Can Do This Week to Market Your Business

audience building blog marketing Nov 23, 2025

If marketing your subscription box or product-based business feels overwhelming, start here. These three simple actions will help you build momentum and grow this week.

Marketing is your #1 job as a business owner. Not packing boxes. Not designing logos. Not even choosing products to go in your boxes.

I talk about the importance of consistency a LOT inside Launch Your Box. Consistency is key to success at every stage of your subscription box journey.

If you’re not consistently showing up and marketing your business, it’s going to be really hard to have a successful launch. And it’ll be nearly impossible to grow.

The businesses that thrive are the ones that keep showing up. Even when they’re busy, tired, or not sure what to post.

Marketing - the right kind of marketing - looks a little different based on what stage of business you’re in. That means if you’ve just started your business, your marketing focus is different from a veteran subscription box owner who is looking to scale.

So, what should you focus on this week?

Whether you’re just starting out, already selling products, or growing your subscription box, I’ve got three simple things you can do right now to market your business.

1. Audience Building (For Beginners)

If you’re just starting out and wondering how to get seen, this is where to focus your energy. Building an audience starts with showing up and letting people get to know you.

Introduce Yourself in Stories

Show your face in stories this week. Share who you are, why you started your business, and who you’re here to serve. People connect with people, not logos. A quick selfie or short video from your workspace is all it takes to start building trust.

Try a 5-Day Story Challenge

Need a plan? Here’s a simple challenge to help you show up consistently:

  • Day 1: Introduce yourself
  • Day 2: Share a behind-the-scenes moment
  • Day 3: Talk about what inspires you
  • Day 4: Show a product or idea
  • Day 5: Ask your audience a question or use a poll

Show up even if it feels awkward at first. That’s how you build confidence and connection. It will get easier!

Engage Outside Your Page

Building your audience isn’t just about posting. It’s about connecting. Spend five minutes a day commenting on 3–5 posts in your niche.

Leave genuine, thoughtful comments that start conversations. You’ll be surprised how quickly this builds visibility and relationships.

2. Selling Products (For Actively Selling Shops)

Already launched your shop and ready to make more sales this week? These strategies will help create urgency and get your audience excited to buy.

Create a “Last Chance” Product Highlight

Scarcity encourages people to act fast.

Pick three products that are almost sold out or are perfect for this season. Post about them in stories and add urgency with captions like “Only 2 left!” or “Ships by Friday!”

Host a Quick Flash Offer

Quick, time-sensitive offers can bring in sales fast.

Try something simple like “Next 10 orders get a free gift” or “$5 off orders over $40 this week only.” Promote it in stories, on your feed, and through email.

Share a Personal Story + Customer Review

Grab a recent review or message that made your day and share it.

Tell your audience why it meant so much to you and invite them to shop or DM you with questions. This builds trust and helps new customers feel confident buying from you.

3. Subscription Box Growth (For Current Subscription Box Owners)

If you already have a subscription box, your goal this week is to attract new subscribers before the month ends. Let’s talk about how to do that.

Send a 3-Email Campaign

Stay consistent with your communication. Try this three-part email series:

  1. Why I Created This Box – Share your story and mission.
  2. Sneak Peek of What’s Coming Next – Build excitement and anticipation.
  3. Last Chance Reminder – Add urgency and encourage sign-ups before your cutoff.

Run a Simple 7-Day Ad Campaign

You don’t need a huge budget. Even $5 a day can make an impact when you focus on warm audiences.

  • Days 1–2: Founder story video ad
  • Days 3–5: Unboxing or sneak peek reel
  • Days 6–7: Countdown image with a cutoff reminder

Consistency is key, like always. These short, focused campaigns keep your box top of mind.

Stay Visible on Social

Use this quick 5-day content plan to keep your box visible:

  • Day 1: Tell the story of your subscription box (carousel or reel)
  • Day 2: Give a sneak peek
  • Day 3: Share a testimonial or unboxing reaction
  • Day 4: “What you missed” FOMO post
  • Day 5: “Last call” countdown or reminder
